A focused meeting on advanced experimental methods and numerical simulations for material characterisation and structural health monitoring.

Scope & Topics

IMEKO TC15 Collegium 2026 is a focused meeting bringing together researchers working on advanced experimental methods and numerical simulations for material characterisation, damage analysis, and structural health monitoring, including applications under extreme loading conditions. The meeting provides a forum to share recent results, exchange ideas, and discuss current challenges in both experimental and computational approaches. Emphasis is placed on open discussion and interaction, as well as on identifying opportunities for future collaborative research and joint project proposals among both established and emerging collaborators.

Publication

Participants are kindly invited to submit manuscripts for peer review, with accepted 6–8 page papers published in a special issue of Acta IMEKO

Language

Official language of the conference is English.

2026 06 08: The conference dinner will take place at the Cobolis microbrewery, conveniently located next to Ládví metro station. The venue can be reached in approximately 15 minutes by public transport or about 40 minutes on foot from the conference location. The dinner will begin at 7:00 PM.
